The Chicago Perl Hackathon 2007 will be held in Downtown Chicago on the site of Hosteling International. The address is 24 E. Congress Parkway. For more information about the location check out http://www.hichicago.com.
The Hackathon officially starts on Friday December 14th and ends on Sunday December 16th. Attendees are welcome to come early and stay late. We just have some extra hack-space reserved on those days.
The best place to stay is at the Hostel itself (and it is a hostel!). We've reserved a few beds already, and you can pay for them through The Perl Review. The event accomodations rate is $115 for Thursday night through Sunday morning. Of course, you're always welcome to book a room at the hostel or at a nearby hotel on your own.
If you are in Chicago, you just need to get to the corner of Congress and Wabash. Your best bets in regards to the 'L' are the Harrison or Jackson Red Line stops, the Library Orange and Brown line stop, and the Adams Green line stop.
For out-of-towners, if you are flying into O'Hare and are using public transportation, take any Blue line train down to the Jackson or LaSalle stop. Both are about the same distance from the hostel, but LaSalle is a straighter shot once you leave the train, so we'll give you directions assuming that you exit the train at LaSalle. Basically, get off the trian and go to street level. You'll be on Congress. Buy Levitra Walk East on Congress until you get to Wabash. It's easy to spot because the 'L' goes over Wabash. Once you get to Wabash and Congress, you're there. The hostel is on the North West side of the intersection.
If you are flying into Midway and are using public transportation, take the Orange line up to the Library stop. When you exit the Library stop you will be on Van Buren. Walk East on Van Buren (under the 'L') to Wabash. Turn right onto Wabash and walk (under the 'L') South until Congress. cialis Buy viagra online
